About Dr. Sarah Mina

Dr. Sarah Mina is a Board-Certified foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, pediatrics, podiatric dermatology, and wound care.

Dr. Mina completed her Bachelors of Science degree majoring in Biochemistry at the University of New Brunswick in Canada. She then advanced her studies and attended medical school at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where she was a recipient of a Mint Scholarship award as well as a Dean’s list student. Dr. Mina further advanced her training in a three-year surgical residency at St. John Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan where she was awarded Outstanding Resident of the Year. During her residency, she received multi-disciplinary training in General and Vascular surgery, Plastic surgery, Internal medicine, Emergency medicine, Rheumatology, Orthopedic surgery and Endocrinology.

Dr. Mina grew up in Toronto, Canada where as the youngest of 4 siblings, she quickly developed a unique identity to help and heal others. One of Dr. Mina’s passions in medicine is medical mission work. She has annually traveled to Davao, Philippines where she performs a number of surgical procedures from pediatric clubfoot, trauma, reconstruction and external fixation on the indigent population. She is an international lecturer and mentor to the orthopedic residency department of the Southern Philippines Medical Center. Her passion to help a population in need has also taken her to the tropical island of Guam, where medical specialties are scarce. She practiced podiatric medicine on the Island of Guam for 3 years where she had the pleasure of treating the indigent Chamorro population of Guam.

About Dr. Crystal Hsu

Dr. Crystal Hsu attended National Taiwan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and received the prestigious Presidential Award. After completing her undergraduate studies, she received a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and achieved membership in the SHD Honorary Anatomical Society. She went on to complete her three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City where she received extensive training in surgical and medical treatment of all foot and ankle conditions. There she also served as chief resident in her final year.

Dr. Hsu grew up in Taiwan. She was interested in medicine from a young age. After suffering the long-lasting effects of a leg injury from a vehicle accident, her decision to pursue podiatry as a career was further solidified.

Dr. Hsu is passionate about caring for her patients and providing the best treatment for them. She is board certified in podiatric medicine with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Hsu speaks fluent English and Mandarin Chinese. In her spare time, Dr. Hsu enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and exploring new places
